About Almada

Almada is a city on the south bank of the Tagus, directly across from Lisbon, dominated by the Cristo Rei statue — a 110-metre monument inspired by Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer. The Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge connects Almada to the capital.
