About Rogil
Rogil is a rural parish in the Aljezur municipality, in the western Algarve, inside the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. The village lives off farming — with the PGI Aljezur sweet potato as its flagship —, livestock and, increasingly, nature tourism. It gives access to some of the wildest beaches on the Costa Vicentina, such as Amoreira, Carriagem and Vale dos Homens, and to the Fishermen's Trail of the Rota Vicentina.
