About Oeiras

Oeiras is a coastal municipality between Lisbon and Cascais, combining modern business districts with a historic seafront. The Marquis of Pombal's 18th-century palace and gardens are a national monument. The seafront promenade from Algés to Paço de Arcos passes several beaches including Santo Amaro and Praia da Torre, with views across the Tagus to the south bank. Oeiras is also a major technology hub, home to the Taguspark science and technology campus.
