Bordeira is a remote coastal parish on the wild western edge of the Algarve, within the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. Its coastline is defined by the spectacular Praia do Amado — a wide, sheltered bay of golden sand backed by towering dunes, renowned as one of Portugal's finest surf beaches. The area remains largely untouched, with no mass tourism and a raw Atlantic landscape that stretches as far as the eye can see.
